I finally caught a minute to snap a few photos of the quilt I made using Tula Pink’s book, City Sampler. As mentioned in Episode 81 I knew I wouldn’t end up finishing all the blocks in the book and I really didn’t need more orphans in the studio.
I have had a jelly roll of black and white prints for years and years and it finally found a home I this project (more a substitute for a text print than anything else, but it works)
It is a really wild quilt in terms of color choices. Yikes!
Here is a shot of the back, to show the FMQ. It is a lot harder to quilt straight lines FMQ than I thought it would be. Lots of re-doing because I wanted to like the finished product and I do, I really do!
This little dude likes it too.
Ps this is being posted using an APP I bought for my iPad. It is called blog pad pro and so far, I really like it.
